Most books, teachers and ministers simply tell us what to do, what not to do and to “control our flesh”. But this only leads to frustration, failure and inconsistency. This is because they do not deal with the “actual doers” or the “true sources” of the thoughts, feelings, urges and actions that we are told to “control”. The key is that we must recognize that there is a wicked spirit, of some sort, influencing the person into thinking, feeling and doing the wickedness.
