The Sabbath - we think of the Jewish day of rest, or maybe any day when we're not working, or the day we attend church. Yeshua says of the Sabbath, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath." (Mark 2:27). The Sabbath is one of the blessings God made for mankind to enjoy. He practiced it Himself on the seventh day of creation. Was God tired? Had all the work He'd done on the first six days worn Him out? We’re Not Under the Law

I was recently visiting with an acquaintance who asked what church I attend. When I identified myself as a Sabbath-keeper, he replied that “we are not under the law”, a common response that all Sabbath-keepers get. This is a partial quote of Paul’s writing, found in Romans 6:14, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.” For context and clarity, here is the next verse: “What then?
