IMPORTANT NOTE:

yourself. If anything that you read
upsets you, I would encourage you to
ask why. There are definite emotional
attachments that we all have to anything
that we grew up with. But I have learned
that at the end of the day, it is not
my opinion or yours that matters or
what anyone believes. But the only thing
that counts is the truth, no matter
how different it is from our current
beliefs. New ideas should never threaten
your walk with God. If approached in
the right way, they should only strengthen
it. Are there questions that we should
not ask? Is there any question that
God cannot handle?
If we have come to the
point where we have stopped asking questions,
or feel threatened in any way because
we have encountered a differing opinion,
then somewhere down the line we have
stopped seeking the Truth and
have entered into the Doors of Religion.
So relax as you read
what scripture has to say regarding
these topics and keep an open mind to
the possibility that just because we
have always believed something, doesn't
mean it is completely accurate. It is
time that we critically analyze what
we believe and find out how much is
fact and how much is tradition.
Let the Bible alone
be the determining source for our doctrine.
And let the doctrines and traditions
of men fall into oblivion.
