-
That Yahweh
(God) is the one true Elohim
over all creation and has always
been (Deut 6:4
-
That He created
the universe through His Word
(John 1:3).
-
That because of
Adam’s sin, all creation was
cursed and in need of redemption
(1Cor 15:22)
-
That because of
this sin, a penalty must be
enforced. And that penalty was
death. (Rom 6:23) Why?
Because God cannot dwell in the
presence of sin.
-
That the people
of the earth were offending Him
so much through their sins, that
He sent them His instructions
(His Law) for the purpose of
helping them clearly understand
what right and wrong was and to
create patterns in their life to
keep them connected with Him
(Gal 3:19).
-
That the
sacrificial system was created
for the purpose of temporarily
relieving God’s wrath away from
His people and their sin as well
as a prophetic symbol for what
the coming Messiah would
complete (Heb 9:1-9)
-
That the “Word”
that Yahweh spoke in Genesis to
create the universe was the same
Word that was sent in John 1:1
to become flesh. This Word that
dwelt among us would be called
“Yahshua” (Yahweh is salvation),
which means “Joshua” in English,
which later would be translated
as “Jesus” today.
-
We believe that
Jesus is the prophesied Messiah
of the Old Testament, the Son of
Yahweh, sent by His Father for
the purpose of standing in the
gap for Adam. He willingly chose
to die for Adam’s sin so that he
would not have to live for
eternity away from the presence
of God. In doing so, because we
are all descendents of Adam and
doomed to the same destiny
because “we all have sinned”
(Rom. 3:23), when Christ died
for Adam he essentially died for
all mankind so that all might be
saved (1Cor 15:22)
-
That in order to
be saved one must first
understand that he has broken
Yahweh’s perfect law and is
condemned because of his sin to
eternal destruction away from
the presence of almighty Yahweh
(Duet 11:28, Rom 6:23).
-
That if one
understands with a truly
repentant heart that he is
condemned by his own
transgressions against God and
accepts that Jesus the Messiah
paid for his penalty on their
behalf, it is at that moment
that they have become a child of
God (John 1:12).
-
That at the
point of conversion it is the
responsibility of the believer
to submit himself to the
teachings of his new “Rabbi
Yahshua” and follow Him all the
days of His life (Luke 9:23).
-
That this is
best done by surrounding oneself
with a community of believers
that have the same passion-to be
more like Him daily.
-
That what God
destroyed on the cross was the
penalty that the Law of
God demanded as payment for the
breaking of it. And that we are
no longer under the law of
sin and death but are under
grace as Paul says in Romans
6:14.
-
That the Law of
God was never abolished just
because faith in Messiah came as
Paul so boldly declares in
Romans 3:31 “Do we nullify
God’s Law because of faith? May
it never be. As a matter of
fact, we establish God’s Law.”
-
That without it
we cannot even have the Ten
Commandments as the rest of the
commandments “hang” off of those
(Mat 22:40).
-
That what was
destroyed at the cross in fact
was the power of sin and the
penalty thereof over all of
mankind. And what was changed
and “done away with” was the
priestly system of sacrifices by
mere men.
-
That Jesus took
over the High priesthood and
because of His perfect blood
sacrifice, His Father would be
forever satisfied and man would
always now have the ability to
come into the presence of
Almighty Yahweh (Heb 9:11-12).
-
That someday
Yahshua our Messiah will come
back to earth to redeem the
living and the dead and all of
those found worthy through His
blood will rule and reign from
the New Jerusalem for 1000 years
(1Thes 3:13,Rev 20:4).
-
Then, after that
period, God will raise up the
rest of the dead and the entire
earth will be judged at the
Great White Throne Judgment (Rev
20:5). All those that do not
have their names written in the
Lamb’s Book of Life will be
thrown into the Lake of Fire to
be burned up and God’s enemies
will be no more (Rev 20:11-12).
-
That until then,
we are to remain faithful to the
work in which He has called us,
which is to “Love the Lord
God with all of your heart,
mind, soul and strength and love
your neighbor as yourself”
(Luke 10:27).
-
That we do this
by understanding and obeying His
Word as the Spirit teaches us.
(John 14:26)
Our goal is also to provide an
opportunity to develop an online
community for believers to study
the bible online with multiple
resources and study tools while
surrounding themselves with
others with the same passion...
a Passion for Truth!
